As They Say.
After a whole month of grey skies and rain, you start to doubt whether if Vancouver is still worth it. And just about right on cue, the clouds part and the rays of sunlight break through. You see the mountains looming pretty over the horizon and feel your spirits lift. Lili Beaudoin rounds the corner, on her way to seize the day. Carpe Diem, as they say.
This photographer stops her.
"Hey, I really like your coat, do you mind if I snap a photograph of it?"
"Thanks, sure! The coat is a gift from my mom actually!" Lili smiles warmly.
We snapped a picture, chatted a bit and off she goes, turning the corner, taking the rays of lightness with her. Now who said Vancouverites are cold and aloof?
